INTORDUCTION
Ambroxol is a mucolytic agent used in the treatment of respiratory diseases associated with viscid or excessive mucus.
USES OF AMBROXOL SUSPENSION
Ambroxol Suspension is used to relieve shortness of breath, constant cough, inflammation in lung airways, excessive cough and thick sputum. It is also used in treatment of Acute Bronchitis Exacerbations with antibiotic drugs.

Ambroxol inhibit the NO-dependent activation of soluble guanylate cyclase which suppress the excessive mucus secretion; therefore, it lowers the phlegm viscosity and improves the mucociliary transport of bronchial secretions.
