Metronidazole is an antibiotic and antiprotozoal medication which is used to treat wide variety of infections.
USES OF METRONIDAZOLE INFUSION
Metronidazole Infusion is used for treat bacterial infections of the vagina, stomach, liver, oral infection, skin, joints, brain and respiratory tract. It is also used to treat trichomoniasis, a sexually transmitted disease caused by a parasite.

HOW METRONIDAZOLE INFUSION WORKS
Metronidazole belongs to a class of drugs called nitroimidazole antimicrobials. It inhibits nucleic acid synthesis by forming nitroso radicals, which disrupt the DNA of microbial cells. Its work by killing the bacteria or other organism that’s causing the infection. This relieves the infection.
