INTORDUCTION
Azithromycin is advanced-generation macrolides with a broad-spectrum antibacterial activity. It is used to treat number of bacterial infections. Azithromycin is particularly noted for high and prolonged concentrations at the site of infection.
USES OF CO-TRIMOXAZOLE SUSPENSION
Azithromycin is used to treat diverse infections, including middle ear infections, strep throat, pneumonia, traveller’s diarrhea, and certain other intestinal infections. It may also be used for treatment of malaria with other medication.
